Dear Trinity Family,

Lenten Services - This years theme is I Love to Tell the Story” and have begun with our weekly Wednesday night Lenten services.  We  have been alternating between Truman and Madelia with worship at 7:00 pm and our supper before at 5:30.  Check out the worship locations elsewhere in the newsletter.  Please plan on joining us for a time of worship using the beloved Holden Evening Prayer Service and exploring Practices of Faith.  The Trinity Choir will be singing along with the prayer services.

Green Lake Bible Camp Opportunities - On February 25 we had our “Camp Sunday” at church services.  The Camp Executive Director, Travis Aufderheide was our guest speaker. for worship.   The paragraph below is from their camp brochure, which explains more about the 2018 upcoming camp season.

“We are blessed to invite you to once again be a part of GLLM’s 2018 retreat and summer camp ministry.  Camp continues to be a relevant and important part of the faith life of people throughout the world. Our ministry is fortunate to have ample facilities, wonderful land full of God’s creation, and supportive congregations who make our camps a home away from home throughout the year.    Our 2018 theme “Get Lost!”  is becoming more meaningful with each passing day.  With so many interruption surround us and permeating our lives each and every day, time away to “Get Lost!” in God’s love and the immense impact that love has on our lives becomes something that is essential!  We will invite campers of all ages to “Get Lost!” in the things that bring us closer to God.  Campers will focus on daily themes of getting lost in Love, Prayer, Service, and Sabbath.  We will reflect each day on the scripture of Matthew 10:39:  “Those who find their life will lose it, and those who lose their life for my sake will find it.”

GLLM’s mission is to “invite all to experience the life-changing love of Jesus through vibrant settings in community and creation.”  We would love to have you be a  part of our camp family this year.  Come and “Get Lost!” - you might just find life!

Trinity Madelia has once again agreed to pay for half of our youth’s camperships.  Please consider sending your youth to camp this summer.  The brochure for the many camp opportunities are on the table in the narthex at church.   You may talk to me about any questions you have about camp, your registration fees and deadlines.

In Christ,

Pastor Krista
