Dear Trinity Family,

I want to remind you of some opportunities in the coming weeks and this summer. 

Tap into Theology -  Continues to meet every other week at the Lewisville Legion at 6:30.  We are basing our discussion around Greg Boyd’s book Letters From A Skeptic.  The book is based on an exchange of letters between father and son around questions about God and faith.  Each letter provides plenty to think about but many of the questions help us articulate our questions and belief.  We will meet this month on March 7th  and the 21st.   We will discuss part 2 on the 7th and part 3 on the 21st.  Please consider joining us.  Let me know if you would like a book.  Pizza and beverages are available for purchase.

Lenten Services - Begin March 1st with Ash Wednesday.  5:30 in Truman and 7:30 in Madelia.  Weekly Wednesday night lenten services will alternate between Madelia and Truman with worship at 7:00 and supper before. Check out the worship locations elsewhere in the news letter.  Please plan on joining us for a time of worship using the beloved Holden Evening Prayer Service and exploring Practices of Faith.  Confirmation students  and mentors this would be a good time to meet to work on your mentor packets.

Family Mission Trip -

 Madison, WI  June 23rd-26th. 

This trip is for families of all shapes, sizes, and ages.  We will travel to Madison and learn about the needs of the community and work with the people of Madison and other families to serve the community.  This is a trip that is set up to be supportive for people with variety of abilities and even the youngest have an opportunity to serve. 

Cost: $129.00.   Sign up with a $50 deposit by April 1st (financial assistance available)

MS/HS Youth Mission Trip

Rapid City, SD  July 23rd- 28th

Youth completed 6th grade -12th are encouraged to travel to Rapid City SD.  We will spend the week working with others and residents of Rapid City serving the needs of the community.  I am looking for 2-3 other adults to travel with us.  Please consider sending your youth but also consider chaperoning.

Cost: $279.00.   Sign up with a $50 deposit by April 1st (financial assistance is available)

GLLM DAY CAMP at Trinity

This summer we will be hosting a Day Camp from Green Lake August 7-10.  We will alternate between to two communities and provide transportation between Trinity and Madelia with programing planned from 8am - 5 pm.  Mark your calendar and plan on participating. Grandparents, aunts and uncles, friends do you have a neighbor or family member that is not a Trinity member please invite them to come.  Trinity Madelia please note that Madelia VBS has been the week prior in the past and this would offer our youth the opportunity of two weeks of faith based programing the first two weeks of August

There are many other opportunities to get involved in the life of the congregation and continue to grow and encourage one another in faith.  I hope you find an opportunity where you and your family can get involved.
