GIFT stands for Growing In Faith Together. 

It's a FREE after school program where

students can learn about the bible, eat, play,

and have fun.  

 

Where: Trinity Lutheran Church in Truman

When: FIRST AND THIRD WEDNESDAY EVERY MONTH (duing the school year)

 

Who: All school ages!

Transportation: Participants will be able to ride the bus

from school to Trinity.

GIFT School:  First and Third Wednesday's of the Month 2:15-5:30 pm . (Sept--May)
 
Communion is scheduled to take place the first and third Sunday’s of the month, check the calendar for any changes.
The Prayer Chain is available for all in need of prayer. God wants to hear from us individually, but he also listens as many gather together to ask his help in time of need. To become a praying member of the Prayer Chain contact the church office at 507-776-4781. prayer chain

If you would like to rent the Trinity Church or the Fellowship Hall, the new policy requires you contact the office administrator, Brenda Hansen and she will then ask the church council for your approval before filling out the facilitiy agreement below.  She has these forms in the office.

 

TRINITY FACILITY USAGE FEES

FEES EFFECTIVE - Sept, 2019  

WEDDINGS:

  • Members must be a member for a least one year                             $100

(the bride or groom just be a member)

  • Nonmembers                                                                                   $200
  • The fees will help to cover expenses like utilities, printing costs, bathroom and garbage expenses, etc.
  • Fees to be paid at the time of reservation:

            Pastor’s services                                                     $150-200 minimum

            Organists/pianist                                                          $100 minimum

  Checks should be made out for the pastor and the organists/pianist.  They should be dated for the date of the wedding and the checks will be held until that day when they will be given to the pastor and organist/pianist.

           

            Security deposit (custodian)                                       $ 50

(This deposit should come in a separate check and it will be held and returned if the church is satisfactorily cleaned up.)

FACILITIES USE AGREEMENT, TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH

 

I have received permission of the Trinity Lutheran Church Council to use the church facilities on _______________________________________________________.

These are the specific areas of the church I will be using.

___________________________________________________________________________.

I agree to leave the facilities the way I found them and will pay the full replacement value for any damages incurred.  I will be responsible for the clean up and place garbage bags in the dumpster by the south door.  I also agree to pay a fee of $50 to “Trinity Lutheran Church” taking into account the extent of the church use.  To ensure your reservation, the fee must be paid at the time the agreement is signed and dated.
